Order up 1 size, great shoes. Stiff but solid. Note the toe box is large yet comes together quickly to pinch toes. If you have a small instep you might need add an orthotic liner to the toe box or even entire shoe.

    • Answer No these shoes are not. They seem to be made for hgh ventalation and water penetrates easily. However Salomon offers a model made with a goretex membrane that are trail running shoes.

    • Answer I don't have them in front of me right now, but I did buy them because they weren't waterproof. I love them. They breathe great, great support, great grip. Extremely happy with them

    • Answer they are not waterproof. gore tex shoes don't breath enough to keep up with my perspiration in anything but cold weather or little activity. these will dry quickly when it stops raining or you are not walking through creeks.
