    Climbed a fourteener in these and they were perfect. I use them for everything (work, play, road runs). My favorite things about them are the protective toe, the boa type lacing, the super grippy tread, and the cushion & support.

    This is my fifth pair of Saloman shoes and among the best. The speed lacing is my favorite feature of this product. These shoes are just as at home walking around town as on the approach to the technical climbs up Mt. Whitney.

    I purchased my first pair of these shoes in Jan 2011, and I'm getting ready to purchase my second pair. I've put a lot of miles on them, both running and hiking, and they've served me well. They are well vented, which can cause problems in a wet environment, but they do dry quickly. Overall I highly recommend them. They do run about a half size too small though, so buy accordingly.

    I purchased my first pair of XT Wings through a competitor, but I loved them so much that I scoured the 'net for another pair of those exact shoes, and you guys have 'em. If the need arises for another pair and you still carry this model, I'll do it again. Or I'll finally catch up and purchase a more year-appropriate shoe instead of the '08 model.
