No frills, soft, stylish, great colors and WARM without constricting bulk! I bought the first for myself and after being so pleased and assured, I bought this as a gift. Incredible value for the price!

This was a good value once sale price was figured in. I was looking for a true turtleneck wool sweater. I like synthetic polar-fleece but hate the zip-up neck of most of the ones on the market - they are never tight enough around my neck, plus I hate the zipper traveler on my adams apple. This sweater fit the bill. Sizing was accurate. Wool is Alpaca, which is relatively soft compared to lambs wool. The knit is a little loose and stretchy which has it's own Pros and Cons.

I am in a minority I suppose, but I kinda like true Turtlenecks and they are impossible to find. I hate zip-up collars on other type of sweaters and fleece pull-overs. Those solutions are never tight enough against my neck and the metal zipper traveler against my adams-apple always drives me nuts. I don't mind a little itchy-ness, I can deal with that.
Best Uses: Cold weather
Cons: A little porous, Not a tight knit
Pros: Hard to find product, Not too scratchy, Sized about right, Soft
