1.0 out of 5 stars. not mens clogsReviewed by gengisron from ohio on Wednesday, August 12, 2015received today and am totally surprised and disappointed with the lack of representation in the ad description. these clogs were definitely not designed for men as they are have significantly elevated heels and a steep arch drop0 in the inner sole. As a nurse I have worn clogs for many years and never a problem like this. It takes women who choose to wear high heels many many years to learn the skill involved in wearing them not to mention actually walking in them. I nearly fell just trying them on ( which at 69 years is nothing I need at the moment .) Will throw them in the garbage for safety sake and hope that I learn from this lesson while looking for some good reliable merrell"s.

I had thought that I may fall wearing the shoes at work, but I have had no problem wearing them while working. The shoes are very stylish and I have received several compliments while wearing the shoes at work. I liked the price, and that they were for men, and that they had my size.

But be careful: if a steel-toe work clog is what you're looking for, you've found them. However, since that feature is not mentioned in the item's copy, I presumed that the word "Safe" in the model's name referred to the shoe's slip-resistant sole pattern, which I want in a kitchen environment, not to a hard cap toe, which I definitely do not want. Since Sierra Trading Post has ended its previous generous free-return policy, you should make sure that you're buying what you need for your application.
