These definitely run large, and I wish I had ordered a 37, but the shoe itself is really well-made. I love the subtle glint of gold and silver foiling through the scuffed leather. Husband liked them, too, so bonus!

I do think the sizes run a little small. For Danskos I have always worn a 40 which is what I ordered but these are a bit tight in the toes and I definitely couldn't wear socks with them. If I order Sanitas again I'd definitely order a size up for comfort.

I have half a dozen Danskos (getting pretty shabby!) size 40, that I wear all the time - the only shoe that gives me enough arch support and doesn't crowd toes - but these, essentially the same design, are definitely too short. No 41s to be had.
