The little straps on these take them a little beyond that. They're so comfortable, and true to size. I have pretty high arches and they work well for me. I wish they came in more colors in my size, I would get another pair.

I got the red and black stripe which doesn't go with much of my wardrobe at all but they're so cute and comfy I kept them anyway. Sanuk is definitely a "relaxed" style so it might not be appropriate for everyone but for me in the Austin weather and casual environment they're perfect.
