    A couple of other reviewers indicated that the placemats were too big. If you have ever bought placemats of this kind before, you'll find they are the same size. They are larger than the average placemat but not huge. The colors are great and really set off my blue/white stoneware. And what a great price!

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Although the reviews said that these were too big, I took a chance and ordered four because I thought they were pretty. I was pleased with them, and the size seemed normal. My mistake was in deciding to order four more. The second four were 4" wider than the first ones I had received.
