Reviewed by Ephblum from Amherst, NY on Sunday, June 2, 2013These shirts also wick moisture pretty well as I have gotten caught in some rainy/downpouring weather and although they don't keep you totally dry they don't seem to absorb so much moisture that you feel soaked/like you are carrying extra weight.
Reviewed by Ephblum from Amherst, NY on Wednesday, May 29, 2013Fit is great in L for me at 6'2" 185lbs cyclist. Started to look for a compression shirt for jogging with two large dogs in the late afternoon. The camelback (for the dogs in warm weather) I wear would bounce around a bit and start to chafe loose t-shirts on the back/shoulders to the point where I was getting itchy spots. These have corrected that perfectly. They don't seem all that better to me than just 4-way stretch spandex (I am not too experienced in runner's wear but have a lot of experience in compression cycling gear), although they do have multiple materials which could account for some of the relatively high retail price. The compression is not too severe and the thin material probably accounts for some of that (I have cycling jerseys that compress significantly more). The length is good and I haven't had trouble with riding up above the waist but it does not stay below the waist over running shorts much, extra material just kind of bunches up a bit at the waist (or you could try to tuck it into shorts). Not too sure about the celiant fibers' effectiveness for what I am using these for, but I am not really going crazy with them, just jogging with a couple dogs for a few miles. At the STP sale prices I picked up 8 of them and am happy with my purchase.
