I am a firefighter and we are required to workout. The department issued New Balance (200 series) and they were inadequate. I went to a running store and the owner recommended the Saucony Stabil 6 and they were like running on cotton balls! A friend suggested Sierra Trading Post and I am now going on my 8th pair and still loving them!

I have used Brooks Beast in the past this was my first venture away from Brooks and it has been miserable. I have used them 3 times and each time I get a blister on the arch of my right foot. Not sure if the shoe is defective or just the way it fits but I have never had this problem before with any shoes.
