5.0 out of 5 stars. Overcame some pain

I injured a tendon in my right foot this winter, tore it a bit. That was the last time I bought $50 running shoes. I can't say enough about how good these felt, but once I broke them in. I ordered a 11.5 M, but have a flat foot and should have ordered 11 EE, since they were also a bit long. I wear an 11 M in Nike and Adidas. I feel Saucony runs a bit narrow, all the way back to my first pair some 15 years ago. Anyway, great support, really got me going again. Will stick with a bit more cushion these days, 40 is different than even 30 when I wore a little less. I trail and street run regularly.

Ordered these for my husband who wears a 13W. They fit really well so far and are comfortable!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy road shoe

This is definitely a plushly cushioned shoe, and the fit is great. The pros are that it is well cushioned, the fit is tight around the midfoot and loose in the toes, and the forefoot cushioning is really nice on downhills. The shoe fits true to size for me. I am a midfoot striker, and cons for this shoe are that its large heel doesn't lend itself well that kind of impact and because of negative space in the sole it often makes a slapping sound when I land in a midfoot strike. I find myself landing more on my heels than I am used to with this shoe, which may not be a good thing long term. For now it is a very comfortable road runner.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. These are really great shoes

These are great shoes. The light weight material might seem tin-y, yeah, but it's held up okay as any running shoe so far. I'm not putting 100 miles a week on them, but people who have have recommended them to me, and so far, yeah, for $90, it's a heck of a deal. Good STP value!
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Husband not happy with shoes.

I am sending these back because my husband doesn't like the way they are plasticy on top.
