Absolute cushion and without compromising weight. The Triumph 5 is a great alternative to the 6. Fantastic price (of course) through Sierra.

I had the Triumph before. So no big surprise that this is a great running shoe.

This is a cushioning shoe. I supinate, and this shoe works well for me. If you pronate, you probably don't belong in this shoe - there are plenty of other choices. This is @ my 8th pair of Saucony's. The X600 outsole is a soft spongy material and tends to wear faster at first than some others until it evens out consistent with your stride and ages well with the shoe; I've never worn it out too soon. Like most Saucony's, this shoe breathes very well. This shoe cushions as well as or better than the ASIIC Gel Cumulus, and encourages natural motion a little better (or discourages pronation less, depending on your perspective). 160 lbs, 5'9".

I love the Saucony triumph line but the 5's in women were slightly tight in the toes box. (Fixed with the 6) I bought the 5 in mens and could have gone a 1/2 size bigger but it is a great shoe and it's just my foot that needs more toe room than average.

Classic Saucony fit--wide toe box, narrower heel. Saucony always runs half size small, but they are consistent. Cons: weird flimsy feeling thin flat laces; tongue too long (rubs ankle). Pros: great shock absorbtion. This shoe is for neutral or underpronating runners who want lots of cushion. Usually this means high arch & heavy weight (I'm neither, but still an underpronator). If you want control, this isn't the shoe for you. If you want cushion and neutrality, you can't do better. I've run in various models of Triumph for years now.

usually buy hurricanes, but these work just as well. Seem to run about a half size small, I ordered bigger and they fit fine.

I've been using these shoes and their predecessor for over a year now, and love them. I run 35-45 miles a week and am a heavier runner (185-190 lbs). Very light shoe with the best combination of breathability and durability that I have had in a running shoe. Mine are size 12.5, which fit just right with no hot-spots or chafing. A terrific value from STP!
