I bought these boots to hike 50 miles in Zion and was not disappointed. The only hitch I had was I had to order the boots THREE times to get the correct size. I wear a woman's 8. I first ordered the 8: WAY too big. I then ordered the 7.5 and my heel was still slipping when I took a step. The 7.3 fits perfectly! I would recommend without reservation.

It was recommended to order 1/2 size smaller, but since that wasn't available, I ordered 1/2 size larger and they fit. They are not perfect, but since the width is right, I will keep them. I have recently returned two pairs because they were too narrow.

The boots seemed well made but they were huge. Also, they only had two criss-cross loops above the laces and therefore did not hug my foot very well. A smaller size would not seem to have rectified that problem, so I went for another brand.

small and narrow, no other sizes available to re-order, otherwise this boot looked very well made and would have probably done what it was made to do, and that is provide great support for heavy loads and long distance hiking.
