Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Pronation Control
Best Uses:
Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels half size too big
Width:
Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I take walks with my enormous Italian Mastiff who trots along at almost a run regardless of what surface we happen to be navigating across. In backwoods Wisconsin during February and March, that means a little bit of pavement, but mostly snowy, icy and sandy roads. So far, these shoes have fit the bill, keeping me upright and able to keep up with her, comfortable and without issue. They do run big, I'm a good size ten, but took the 9 1/2 in these without a problem. They're sturdy without bulk, built, and they make my big wide feet look cute and sleek - no mean feet.

I have been very pleased with this product. Straight out of the box, these hikers were comfortable and supportive, wonderful for walking around the block, taking the dogs for hikes in the park and just casual daywhere. They are not meant to be waterproof, so I plan to use them more for long mountain hikes once the trails are predictably dry.
