Got these for my girlfriend. Great intro shoe. The toebox is a bit cramped, but will break in over time. Better for narrow toe-widths, as with all scarpas. Make sure you fit scarpas before you buy scarpas, I tried this the hard way. These will be great all around with a little bit of performance and a little bit of endurance.
    • Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor, Sport
    • Cons: Toe is cramped, Uncomfortable
    • Describe Yourself: Avid Climber
    • Pros: All around, Versatile
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels too narrow

I would say that these do tend to have a high heel... but if you get them small enough (i.e. appropriately small) that is not as much of a problem. These seem to be low volume eveywhere but the toe box; which is great if you're like me and have difficulty finding shoes that are snug around the heal and arch but not excruciatingly tight around the toes. Because the toe box is a little larger than similar shoes they aren't quite as aggressive, but I still find that they edge remarkably well and I'm also getting good power out of my big toe. These are about my 8th pair of shoes and I think I might have finally found the perfect balance of comfort and performance.
    • Best Uses: Long Climbs
    • Cons: Some pressure points
    • Describe Yourself: Avid Climber
    • Pros: Arch support, Edges well, Sticky rubber
    • Sizing: Feels half size too big
    • Width: Feels true to width

Comfortable shoes. Your foot may need to adjust to the softer sole. Great on slopers. Good with heel hooks. The heel cup is a little wide but I have a narrow heel. I wear an 8 1/2 women's and ordered a 38.5 shoe. This is my 3rd try with climbing shoes and these are definately keepers.

I attempted to wear these on one short route, but indeed, the ultra-high back to the shoe digs painfully into the back of my heel. OUCH--back to my la sportiva's.
