    These are not disposal shoes. Not the tennis type shoe which will fall apart in a couple of months. Made in Italy. Will probably last a lifetime. These remind me of handmade Swiss boots I used to buy. A little heavy for short approaches or carrying on your harness on delicate climbs, but great for everything else. Great foot protection. I bought three pairs!

    Too bad they don't make this shoe anymore, or the Zodiac. Scarpa virtually invented the approach shoe, and these are the best they made. A little odd looking, but if they fit, THEY FIT. These are by far the most dependable, best fitting, comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Tough as nails, and up to the job. Any other cliche's to throw in? Not really, but Scarpa needs to make this kind of shoe again.
