I ordered up in the size based on other reviews, but that wasn't necessary and had to order my regular size 8 after all. These are a very low sole, so won't keep you up out of snow or ice very well, but are cute for "fashion hiking."

  • Question “I'm curious about the "pine" color. It really looks dark enough to be grey-green (like a slate or a dark taupe). If so, I might prefer that over the black. But if it's a true green pine, not so much. Anyone here buy the "Pine Green" color? If so, is it dark enough to look neutral?”
Asked on 7/11/2012 12:00:00 AM by Denise from Minneapolis
    • Answer In my opinion Its definitely at true pine green color. I hope this helps.

  • Question “I have now found 3 international shoe size conversion charts online, which give me three different answers regarding my US to euro size. Can anyone who has these Scarpas confirm the size conversion for me? I am a US 8, and depending on the chart I refer to, I should be ordering a 38, 38.5, or 39.5. Help!”

    • Answer You may wanat to try a spray on waterproofing such as Nikwax Liquid Waterpoofing Wax for Leather.

    • Answer You can spray with waterproofing spray available in Walmart but it will darken the leather. You can also Mink oil them but again, shoe willnot look the same and will flatten the suede.
