I'm on my feet all day at work on a concrete floor. They are really comfortable and didn't have to break them in a few hours a day!!!

[...]Unfortunately the shoes were a size too big for me however I was able to sell them to my daughter who loves the shoe. She uses them for walking and jogging daily.

I plan to use this footwear in standing/walking for many hours each day and carry very heavy equipment. Excellent arch support and stability are essential. Typically I wear a 7 and 1/2. I ordered the 7 & 1/2 to 8 but it is too short with an appropriately thick sock. I will return for an 8. This shoe is a keeper!

If you are new to hiking, the Scarpa brand is considered top-of-the-line. The shoes are not the greatest looking but they will get muddy soon enough and they will look like any other hiking shoe is supposed to look. If you don't hike, the shoes are very comfortable for casual wear. They're lightweight, but very stable. Buy them while they still have your size.

I didn't have them on for long but long enough to tell that the toe area was to tight and the heal to loose. I felt that my heal was going to slip out of the shoe. The shoe had a odd shape very strait, I like when my shoes form to the contour of the foot and these shoes do not.

Even though my husband said, "They don't look cool", I thought they were cute and would have served my need: day hikes in the desert. They were light, sturdy and had a cushy sole. I returned them because the toe box was just too narrow for my foot.
