“I originally bought these to climb Mt. Rainier but decided to use a plactic boot instead. I am glad I did because these boots don't have a removable liner to sleep in and are harder to dry out. However, they work great for day use. I wore these in Antarctica and they worked perfectly. Kept my feet warm in 20-30 temps and dry in wet conditions. I climbed two short peaks in them, and without breaking them in prior to the trip I didn't get any sore spots. They offered good flexiblity and worked well with crampons. I liked the waterproof factor which protected my feet in the wet boat and on shore. Initially I thought they ran a little small, especially after putting a liner and thicker sock on. However, once I started moving around I didn't notice it anymore so I'd have to say they run true to size. They look great on your feet too.”
