Once they break in these are good overall shoes that climb well inside and out.

I just started climbing and these were my first shoes. My friends told me to size down with shoes, but they were sooo tight it hurt to walk! I ended up returning them for my regular size, and they still felt tight, but after one climbing session, they broke in pretty well. My one friend noticed that since it's mostly polyurethane, it won't stretch as much as other's do. The strings allow you to tighten as much as you want, as well. I'm a true 7.5 in all kinds of shoes, and getting the euro version of that worked best for me! I would give them a 5 star rating, but considering they are my first pair, I don't really know how well they compare to others!

This was the first pair of climbing shoes I got. I was discouraged by so many peoples negative comments that I almost returned them, but I took them to the gym I go to and they said they're supposed to be tight and would stretch out fine. I have climbed in them several times now and they feel good and are wearing in well. I think they run a little smaller than they should, but otherwise, they are pretty comfortable and have really improved my grip when I boulder at the gym. Not a bad shoe, but I am also a beginning climber and this is my first pair of shoes....

My friend uses these shoes for "difficult climbs" and she calls them HPS's (high performance shoes) as a joke. I decided to get a pair and am 100% satisfied. I wear a women's 7 in street shoes (I have a slightly wide foot) and ordered the size 37. The fit is spot on. If you have a more narrow foot, you may be able to go down half a size. The heel is tightened by the laces, if the fit is too tight, you can just unlace the heel straps.
