I have been climbing for about 20+ times, 3 times with this pair of shoes. This is best deal I found for velcro climbing shoes. The straps are much more convenient than lace. I don't feel much difference on performance from rental shoes though. Rubber is stiffer? The biggest trouble I have with these shoes is sizing. I ended up ordered 3 pairs and finally found the right size, 6.5. I normally wear 6 and tightly fit in 5.5 for rental climbing shoes, 6/6.5 for street shoes. FYI.

I wear 5 1/2 in heels and ordered the same size for these. Should have ordered size 6. Overall, they are very nice shoes.

I love Scarpa shoes, so I am already biased, but these have a nice fit (Scarpa fit tends to not be too narrow, so better for wider feet), and supersticky rubber. Plus they are pretty.

I just started climbing a couple months ago and decided it was time to get some of my own gear. These shoes are the first thing I've purchased and they are pretty awesome. They are way stiffer and more aggressive than the super broken-in rental shoes I've been wearing, which has taken some getting used to. But they stick to the rock a lot better and feel way more stable on small holds which is a big help in boosting my climbing confidence. The design is also cool, and the velcro straps feel plenty secure and are easy to adjust. I can't wait until spring when I can take them outside on bigger walls!

STP was actually out of my size in the women's shoe so I ended up ordering the almost identical, though apparently wider, men's version based on European size. I ordered a size smaller than my street shoe and they are pretty snug (in the good way). My toenails are funky so I personally can't wear them too comfortably while I belay but I imagine that for normal-toenailed people, these would be fantastic for all-day wear. They are not quite sticky but work great for smears and are snug enough for tiny edges, heel hooks, etc.

bought these for my 11 year-old daughter who is new to competitive climbing. She loves them compared to the Evolvs she was climbing in. The heel takes some getting used to, though, as it is much deeper and the back goes up much higher than she is used to.

Just started and a Great beginners pair of shoes. A little uncomfortable, but I think its just a matter of breaking them in. Great quality at a decent price! Make sure you go up a size, I had to return and then order a bigger size.

So far so good! I didn't want a super intense shoe, but I still wanted one that will help me stick some slightly smaller foot holds and so far these shoes have done the trick! ...And I love that the width is adjustable.
