I am a woman with a small wide foot (street size 36-37) so I decided on the men's Vision for its wider fit.
I am really pleased with the shape and width, and the heel space is minimal compared with other shoes that fit my width.
I have tried the scarpa 'force' in the same size (36) and it was a bit more comfortable (would have needed a 35 i think) but is very flat . Comparatively I think the Vision could have gone to a 35&1/2 and had room to stretch (but I was cramping after a long session so maybe not).
I have tried the Scarpa 'Stix' (36) which was VERY aggressive, tight and uncomfortable in width but had too much room on the sides of the heels.
The Scarpa 'Instinct' slipper in a 37 was a comparable fit and shape to the Vision but lacked the adjustability.
The down turn of the Vision is great - not too exaggerated but suitable for the levels I am climbing (23-24 Australian).
There are 2 velcro straps at different angles which cover most of the foot and the side attached tongue makes for a very sturdy overlap.
It was slippery the first couple of climbs outdoor but started to get better friction by the 5th or 6th climb. The sensitivity wasn't as good as I expected but I think it will improve with wear. The sole is quite flexible but there is good arch support so I think it will be solid for thin edges (once the sensitivity is better)
I am confident it will mold to my foot well, though I anticipate it stretching over time.

I do my gym climbing several days a week in these. Normally I get a hole in my toe rand after about 4 months. But I can't even remember when I got these...over a year ago and the rubber is only beginning to wear. I'm shocked. I usually wear (i'm female) a 38.5/39 in climbing shoes (8.5 street shoe) and these are true to that rule. Comfy as climbing shoes can be, I probably could have gone tighter. Slighty cambered but not as aggressive as most steep or bouldering shoes.

These shoes are very well made and great for most types of climbing. They fit well, are easy to get on and off and have just enough down turn in the toe to make them good for everything from slabs to steep bouldering. Scarpas are made in Italy and I think it makes a world of difference. Vibram rubber can't be beat!

Pretty good for intermediate to advanced level climbers. Easy to get on and off fast with the velcro and still allows for some adjustment. I was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes to mess around in so i only got half a size down(43 and i normally wear 10.5 street shoes). They are a little wide on me but i have narrow feet. However the toes are still tight and good.

I didn't actually get a chance to use the shoes. But, once they arrived and I tried them on ..well it just wasn't what I wanted. The shoes pucker on the sides and just felt too big for me.

Pros: Crack climbing
Toe hooking (stiff sole)
Very durable
Easy on/off
Comfortable
Bouldering
Cons: Smearing
Not very sensitive (very thick rubber)
Not the stickiest I have worn
Heel hooks.(the heel is way too dense. This thing will peel right off my foot on a difficult heel hook)
Summary: I love these shoes but I will more than likely move on to something else. The newer lace up's may be worth giving a shot.

These are the shoes that I break out when I want all-day comfort and know that I'm going to be jamming cracks. Easy on/easy off - yet still provide power & precision. They're not as aggressive as other Scarpa such as the Booster, Mago, or Styx - but that's actually why they work so well in cracks: just enough down-turned toe for power & precision, but not so much to cause your toe-knuckles to smashed in a crack. Although they seem to run about 1/2 size bigger in length, they also seem to be narrower than other Scarpa shoes - this isn't a "bad thing", just something to factor in when trying to get the best fit.

I am a La Sportiva fan by heart first of all. I heard and read that the shoe designer for Sportiva also designed the Scarpa shoes or vice-versa. Either way the similarity is there if you're familiar with Sportiva shoes. These Vision's to me is the Sportiva Venom with less rubber on top and with the velcro that I thought could've been added to the Venom's for heel hooking reasons. I got the exact same size in these as I did in my Solutions. Overall a great shoe and would purchase another.

You will always get confused by reading reviews from different guys with diff backgrounds. For me, I purchased the shoes 3 euro size smaller than my walking shoes. It's painful at the beginning but it rocks after some compatible period. In gym, all shoes should be be 2 size smaller at least for most of climbing shoe brand.
This shoe has precise toe point, aggressive arch, good smear, and the best of all---rubber mesh, offering you good hooking on versatile features.
Velcro works not perfectly as La sportiva solution does, so I do not like it. I think it is only a good gym shoe, unbeatable price on STP site. Personally view, coming from a guy can only climb rate 6c+.
