“Good boot”

“Nice boots for a nice price. Comfortable right out of the box. I haven't had a real pair of hiking boots in years so it took a few wears to get used to having ankle support, but now it feels quite natural. Can't say for sure about the waterproofing ability, but it handles snow and slush quite nicely and keeps my feet dry and reasonably warm in cold weather. My only quibble with this boot are the lace hooks at the top. They are rather small and I would have preferred D-rings or something more substantial. If I try to lace up too quickly I often miss the small hooks or the laces often slip out if they are given any slack.”
