I ordered my regular size and they were huge, so i exchanged them for a smaller size and they were still too big, so i think i'm just going to go to a store and try to find a pair that fit properly.

Hiking the Great North Walk in training for Ball Pass in NZ - Mt Cook. Boots didn't need much to wear in and provided great ankle support up and down uneven terrain. Definately recommend buying half a size bigger for going down steep slopes as leaves plenty of room for your toes moving forward with the pack - fantastic for preventing the leeches from attacking too! Wore for 8 hour hikes without complaint. Kept feet dry when raining. The real test will be in the snow in NZ while mountaineering.

For years I have been using heavyweight Scarpa boots for hiking in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, but decided after my last 12 day walk in Switzerland that I needed a lighter boot to reduce my overall carry weight. This boot suits perfectly, is extremely light and comfortable, sturdy enough for general mountain walking, but will probably not give me the same years of service that my previous boots have.

I wear an exact size 11. Usually shoes are short at this end of the spectrum, but I was very happy to find that this hiking boot fit perfectly! The top edge of the boot is a bit stiff but very padded.

My first day in these boots involved 4 miles and 1500 ft elevation gain/loss. I have narrow feet. The entire bottoms of both feet felt raw afterwards from the footbed (hard, rough), but my usual blister hot spots (heels, toes) from prior boots over the years were happy. With the right footbed (more cost to me) to correct the width and hardness/roughness, this will be a good boot for me.

These boots provide great support and a sturdy sole, yet are fairly light weight. They are comfortable, durable and fit narrow feet well.

This is my second pair of Scarpa Gore Tex hiking boots. My first pair has given me many miles of comfort and support. Highly recommended
