These are well made boots that are perfect for light hiking and for around-town use in the winter. For me, the fit seems slightly snug compared to other Scarpa boots I have used, but not enough to need a smaller size than my usual Scarpa size. The snugness of the fit is actually a bonus for warm weather use, since I can wear them comfortably with fewer or thinner sock layers than I typically use for hiking in boots of this type. I haven't owned these long enough to comment on the long term durability, but so far, so good.
