His rods are beautiful and his tapers are proven - by him in the Rockies. Check out his website, Schliske bamboo, and you will see his passion for fly fishing as well as building rods. His photography is also astounding. Don't confuse this rod with Chinese imports. This is the real thing, handmade by a master.
