Schneiders Ben Duffle Coat - Virgin Wool (For Men)

This may be the finest coat I have ever had. I am a 42-44. 52 is perfect fit.

I bought this coat bcause of it's length. I wanted something classic but longer than the typical duffle coat. The zipper "zips" on the wrong side (European) for American men (You place the metal insert on the right side)which takes some getting used to).

I bought this for a friend and we both love the softness and weight of the cashmere, the long length, and the removable hood. Without the hood it looks almost dressy. He generally wears a 42 and I would say this might lean a little more toward the 44 side, but it fits beautifully with a heavy sweater under it which is the most likely way he'll wear it in winter. (For those who wear suits it will accommodate that as well.) The coat itself is lightweight so it could probably be worn in spring and fall with no additional layers, fit permitting. This is a fabulous buy.

I heartily give this duffle coat my highest recommendation. The material is soft and dense. The needlework is excellent. The fit is ideal. The fun factor is also present! I have been very impressed with all of the natural fiber menswear I have from Schneider's, Amadeus and Habsburg.

Absolutely the best...but watch the sizing. I luckily ordered the 46(US)as it was largest they had and worried it would be too small. It fitted perfectly after I had the sleeves shortened. I usually go 48-50!
