Scott Barber Pima Cotton Zip Jacket (For Men)

It's absolutely fantastic jacket. But i think its more swetshirt than jacket. Material is of very good quality. Very soft. Zipper is top notch - very easy to zip it. Jacket is very versatile and looks stylish with both office shirt or t-shirt on the walk. My favorite jacket now!

This is my 2nd Scott Barber Pima Cotton Jacket from S-T-P, in a rich Brown. My 1st is in Olive & slightly heavier. Both with a "Fine Hand" although this 2nd one is a tad finer to the touch due to a slightly lighter cotton & different weave. I'm happy with both although neither were available in my preferred short-list of colors. I'd have chosen Black, Dark Gray, Dark Green or Dark Maroon if I could have. As I stated in my previous review of the Olive colored 1st one. It's a nice alternative to a Cotton Cardigan Sweater which was what I originbally started out lookin' for. If I thought the 1st wasn't a good deal, I wouldn't have went for the 2nd & I'll probably go for a third Scott Barber offering should a similar style appear @ S-T-P, in another acceptable color & @ as good or better price.

This is more like a cotton sweater than a jacket, for cool weather, and it is incredibly soft. I would not wear it for work or activities that require durability. It's more for going out on a casual date, because it's a masculine look, but also fantastic to touch. The drape is like cashmere.

I got this as a complement to my Dunning zip-neck sweater, and it is absolutely ace. Scott Barber is the foundation of my wardrobe, and never lets me down.

Zipper pull is on the ladies side, not the guy side. Gave it to my wife.

The zipper is a ladies zipper. It slides in on the rifgt hand side, not the left. This makes is awkward for a man to zip the jacket. I bought this for my husband and he couldn't use it. I could zip it just fine as it is set up as woman's zip. This jacket would be a very nice outdoor jacket for a woman.

A good all-around jacket for use in a temperate climate--too heavy for travel

Set out in search of a Cardigan, in cotton & this turned out to be an excellent alternative @ a decent price compared to some of the Cardigans that were available. Black, Deep Gray or maybe a Deep Hunter Green would've been nicer but I'm not adverse to Olive. The Red's a bit loud for my taste though. Nice sturdy zipper with deep pockets, nice soft, smooth feel that should wear & fade well through many washes over the long haul.
