As a borderline M or L, however, I have found that L is for me (I take a dress shirt at 16-1/2 x 33) a much better fit than M. These are great shirts! Very well made. I commercial launder mine without starch and they hold up well all day, and for years of great service. The wide range of choices makes it fun to assemble a versatile wardrobe of 'business casual' acceptable shirts that are so much more fun to wear than stodgy old solids.
