It has a flattering fit against the face. I put the hat on at the top of the mountain and everything was downhill from there. loved this hat.

Of course I had a helmet for riding in addition to the hat, but I was outside for about 10 hours and my head and ears stayed warm in the snowy, 20 degree weather.
