Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. awesome jacket

This is a great deal. As others have said. Quality leather and looks better in real life.
Being a motorcycle jacket it is designed to be "fitted". I have athletic shoulders and ordered a large based on other reviews, but I
had to return the large for a medium. I am 5'9" 138#'s. Measure 35" around bust. It fits perfectly. I usually take an 8 or a 10 in jackets.
I will wear it spring and fall, not with heavy sweaters.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it.

I bought this jacket as a lighter-weight alternative to my cordura touring jacket. I am 5'7" and 175 lbs evenly distributed. The large fits me perfectly, even through the shoulders. The jacket is long enough to keep my lower back protected while riding. I especially like the styling. I am so happy to have found a reasonably-priced body-con style riding jacket that doesn't make me look like a Power Ranger! I might even wear it when I'm not riding!
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Wrong fit

I ordered this jacket to wear casually. I really like the weathered look of it. It feels rough and I'm unsure of how one can condition the leather. But the fit if this was consistently off. I originally ordered the medium since that is what I usually wear. But I was swimming in the thing. I exchanged it for a small because I wanted to keep it for styling. Again swimming. I'm not tiny although I'm only 5'2. I'm very muscular with an athletic build (broad shouldered, muscular arms, smaller bust thin waisted) so the other reviews about the shoulders and bust made me think this could definitely work. And I loved the price with the recent specials. But the cut is just too big in the shoulders and arms too long for most females under 5'5 in my opinion. Had to return it. Moving on to a different moto jacket.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Odd fit

The style of jacket is great. Appealing and unique rough leather in a muted but good red. The leather is a bit stiff but it is billed as biker jacket. I am assuming it will break in nicely Lining is spectacular and done well. The fit is tight across shoulders and tends to ride up making it look like big shoulder pads. I'm a 12 normally and XL is snug so I'd say it runs small. But sleeves are long( style).
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Mediocre

This jacket has some issues. It certainly is not a $399 jacket and I did not think it was even an $80 jacket. It had a funny odor coming out of the plastic wrap it was sent in. The sanded leather was not soft, but grainy and my co-worker said the shoulders made me look like I was ready to play for the NFL. The nicest thing about the jacket was the lining.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Different but good

At first, I was hesitant about keeping the jacket. It was obviously leather, but I wasn't sure if the sanded down look was for me. The color to me looks exactly as it does online. It isn't really a red jacket. However, after trying it with several outfits and having it on the entire time, I realized it was a keeper! It is a true motorcycle jacket but can be worn with jeans or casual apparel. Since I don't have a motorcycle, this wasn't the reason I bought it, so I have no comments to say as to weather it is a good jacket for riding. I can say it's a good jacket for me. My husband notices what I wear, but when I come out with something he really likes, he definitely says so and he did with this jacket. When I was hesitant about keeping it, he was saying keep it all along. Good deal, comfortable, casual wear.
