This towel is perfect for me. It weighs ounces so my gym bag isn't heavy (neck issues necessitate light carrying loads). iit absorbs water well. When wet, it isn't heavy and doesn't feel wet. I hang it up at home and I am amazed at how fast it dries. Initially, I didn't like the feel out of it, perhaps because the texture is so different from a regular towel. After the first time, I was comfortable with the texture. I bought bright orange (the picture is the true color). There's little chance of my losing the towel.
