Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chef_Special from Texas on Thursday, October 9, 2014I got this for travel abroad. They are a bit bigger than expected when in travel case. Otherwise they are great buy and will double for a sleeping bag in warm weather if need be. Got one for my wife as well. I'm 5'10" and have room to stretch out comfortably. We look forward to using them.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mom Cat from California on Friday, September 19, 2014I have not used the travel liner yet but it is soft and a pretty color. I washed it and the color did not run. It was easy to fold and role and get back in the pouch which could have been a challenge. It is necessary for me to conserve space on this trip so the small package is an advantage.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Giving up the old heavy weight for the new. from Utah on Thursday, July 24, 2014This will be for hostel sleeping or sleeping on top of the bag.
It's plenty big--too big for a mummy bag, I think, as it would get bunched up.
I only used it on my family room floor but liked it very much for what it is.
I have a mummy bag shaped liner for my camping bag.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jael815 from San Francisco Bay Area on Thursday, June 26, 2014As a previous reviewer has stated, this is basically a sheet that's been sewn together. It is a bit hard to get into - those with flexibility problems might give it a second thought. Be aware that the washing instructions state, "Line dry" - as this is quite long, you need a long line or you will have to fold it over double or triple!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by FLnative from florida on Monday, June 9, 2014Have not camped in it with a sleeping bag, but tried it out at home in bed. Surprised at how comfortable this is - was expecting it to be confining, but not so. Cotton is a fine weave, not coarse, so it is comfortable. I would not pay full retail on this...I think you could easily sew something up yourself with sheets. But at STP price, it was worth buying it. Envelope is handy too, I have sinus problems at night especially tent camping and the envelope can be be used sort of like a night cap. Considering a second as a backup...
Reviewed by Jennie the Princess Camper from SF Bay Area, California on Sunday, May 11, 2014I bought these, in green and in blue, for a trip to France. One of our online B&B places wanted a lot for linens, so I used a great discount and got these for us to use. They're comfy--glad I got the wide, with the pillow cover! I worried about getting tangled up in them but it was never an issue. I didn't take time to wash the before we left, but they were plenty soft out of the package.
Pro tips: to make room in them, just spread your legs wide briefly. That straightens it out and then you're golden. Also, if the pillows don't completely fit in the pocket--just turn the entire thing inside out! The pillow fits into the pocket under the entire liner and you never touch it.
I wish the opening were a bit lower, but both of ours ended up with a smidge of ripped stitching, voilà, larger opening.
Not as hard to get back into the package as you might think.
