    I keep this bag in the cockpit of my kayak.The material is rigid and strong, but doesn't compress into a small cockpit. I'm sure it is very waterproof and will float if the kayak should overturn.

    Went on a one week multilocation bicycling/camping trip after purchasing bag. The buckles are fastened to the bag with a one inch wide band of material that looks like the band is heat welded to the bag. The band is separating from the bag. Also, closure is not secure and unfolds.
