I'm a devotee of the Kindle e-reader, and my love of my iPad approaches idolatry. But these electronics have one drawback: one cannot use them in the bathtub without risking damage to an expensive piece of equipment. This waterproof sack is just the right size for a Kindle or iPad, and one can use t... Read More

I use this to read books on my iPad while standing at the pool edge and while on the boat I don't have to worry about getting splashed or getting the iPad knocked in the water.

I ordered this to protect my netbook. Wishful thinking. It will be fine for some of the accessories. Maybe the i-pad fits fine, but you would need to put the package inside a sleeve, as there is no padded protection. I wound up ordering a padded waterproof sleeve for my netbook. Kind of pricey. I wouldn't go out of my way to order this item again.

As advertised, this is a iPad protector. It is heavy duty and should work well. At the original price I would say it is way too expensive. At the closeout price is it perfect. The competition would be a zip-lock freezer bag. The freezer bag is less bulky if you are backpacking. But this bag has a nice strap.

Overall, I think with mild use and precaution this is a good dry bag for a large electronic device.
When I received this bag, the plastic was already damaged, I will attempt an exchange.
I purchased this dry bag for my kindle and the smaller passport dry bag for my passport. Both bags are much larger then expected, the smaller "passport" bag fit my kindle with plenty of room to spare. I am skeptical as to how waterproof these bags will be especially because the bag was already damaged when I got it.
