    Pros:
    Good Capacity, Tight Closure, Waterproof
    Cons:
    Bulky
    Best Uses:
    Paddling, Sailing
    Describe Yourself:

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Actually we bought three of them for a canoe trip, it's big enough to put all clothes and sleeping bag in. But one bag got a hole at the bottom after 3-day paddling and camping, which was a little bit frustrating.

    Pros:
Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Inexpensive, Tight Closure
    Cons:
    Flimsy harness attachment
    Best Uses:
Bulky lightweight gear, No long portages, Paddling
    Describe Yourself:
    Avid backcountry tourer
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Bought two packs before extended BWCA trip involving long portages. Used mostly for light and bulky gear (sleeping bags, clothing, tent). Despite limited load, the shoulder harnesses almost ripped out of the bag and are currently hanging on by a thread. The bag as such is good, roomy and waterproof but should not be relied on for portaging gear.

I'm really glad I decided to purchase the bag. Needed it for a canoe trip and it worked like a charm! Kept gear dry and packed a good size load as well. Plan to use in Canada near the Boundary Waters.

Great gear bag for our annual float trip. Perfect for your tent, bag and clothes. Throw it over your shoulder and set camp.
