Seattle Sports Roll Top Duffel Dry Bag - Large, Waterproof

We took two of these duffles to Peru at the tail end of the rainy season. Our gear stayed dry. The side opening give you much easier access to your gear than the traditional dry bag that opens at the top.

Although I haven't put the bag to use yet, I've looked it over and am quite pleased with it. Seems to be very rugged and sturdy, and will definitely hold about a weeks worth (if packing light) of clothing, etc.. I bought this as a replacement for a previous standard 'canvas' bag which wasn't waterproof. When you go sailing, having waterproof stuff to store things within is rather important!

Used bag on the back of my motorcycle to keep my personal gear dry. It rained 4 days straight on a trip to Florida. Gear was perfectly dry.

We bought this to take with us to Key West as we have a road trip planned in our Miata at the end of the month so that we can combine the best of both of our favorite hobbies, our car and camping. If you have ever seen a Miata trunk, you know there is not much of one. We had to pare down to the absolute necessities. We scaled down everything which left us with our clothing. Where could we put them with the trunk full? Luckily, we have an attached luggage rack and we came up with the brilliant idea of a waterproof bag and started looking at the duffle styles. They seemed to be awkward because one person would have to pull their clothes out to get to the others clothing. After looking at all the retail stores around town, we started looking online and came across this one which was exactly what we were looking for. It fits very nicely on the back of the car and we don't have to do any special maneuvering of our clothing in order to get to them, not to mention we can just throw it right from the car to the tent without it taking a whole lot of room up. We have a few trips this year planned with this bag and a lot more in the future. It's built tough and since we didn't want to have wet clothing, it is going to suit our needs just fine!

I would recommend if there were limited alternatives.

Primary use is for a duffel on my KLR650 motorcycle, cheaper than bike bags with the same storage and waterproof.

Bag is pretty much exactly as described. I use mine to stash a tent and sleeping bag on raft trips. Have not submerged by any means, but seems to keep gear sufficiently dry. So far so good! Upon receiving the bag, I carefully inspected the seams. They are very well sewn and welded. Do be sure to leave enough room at the top of your bag to roll up the flap adequately. Price is right for a great dry bag.
