I have another Sherpac bag as well as an LL Bean bag and the Sherpacs are more waterproof hands down. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Question “I know this product says it fits without a roof rack system but i see that its attached to tracks that run along the roof that aren't necessarily considered a "roof rack" but still function as a system in which the product can fasten to. My question is: Can this product be attached to a roof without any sort of roof fixture without running through open windows and doors? Or can a door close over the straps when its strapped through the doors?”

Answer You will need to have bars one direction or the other to attach the bag to. A roof rack does not always mean it has bars on all four sides. I would not recommended trying to strap this to your roof any other way.
