This is not a super-light dry sack. Stiffer material and a structured design lend these to a variety of uses. I load these with groceries and it's easy in and easy out of my bike panniers or backpack. The way the bags close makes for a great handle. You can fill them with ice and cold drinks, use them as a camping or picnic wash-up tub, and I have even used the smaller size to carry my lunch. Also, great for storing gear, clothing, and stringing up your food. Looking forwrd to using this as a kayak/ boat carry-on bag. Some have mentioned leakage in the small side pocket via the zipper. I haven't experienced this, but since the pocket is external, I doubt that water would find a way into (or out of) the actual bag. The clear window makes it easy to find things. So far, so good! Hoping for some longevity with these. What a steal of a deal!

I have purchased several Seattle bags and never disappointed. They are mid-range tough. The only downside that I noted on this bag is the zipper. I thought that it was a pocket, but it's just an entry point and not very big at that. It's a YKK zipper, but zippers are always weak points.
