These are bombproof, no need to baby these like the newer light weight dry bags. Both styles arre useful. I bought a pair of these to store things in my pickup which has a slightly leaky shell. They should work great!

They have tons of room and keep our stuff clean and dry! We used two of them packed on the rack on the top of our vehicle for a two week camping trip to Yellowstone. They held up the whole way and we still plan to use them again and again! It did rain, a downpour actually, for about 3 days of our trip and the bags never leaked once. I would happily use these bags on any rafting trip. Get some!
