Truly comfortable shoes that are appropriate for a variety of different occasions. A few things to note. They do appear to run a bit small so you might want to consider ordering up a 1/2 size. Also, as a previous reviewer noted, these shoes will definitely benefit with the addition of a suede protector. I used a spray-on protector which did cause the shoes to darken slightly but they still look great.

This was kind of a "nostalgia" buy - as a kid gowing up on the beaches in LA, we used to call these 'Wallabies" - I just about wore nothing else for years - and I've already received unsolicited comments from strangers saying "Hey, I remember those !". They pretty much hit the mark in the same style and feel - even down to the oily gum soles that leave an oily film on your hardwood floors - much to my wife's dismay (the only reason why they get four stars instead of five). I'd also recommend a suede protector to keep the grime from settling in - especially on the heels and toes where scuffing occurs. They still look great with a pair of jeans and a casual shirt - just like I remember as a kid.
