    The boots look great and are comfortable. Had never heard of Sebago...I know them now. Nice after purchase benfit was I found that these boots are made to be weather proof...Sebago made their name in the boat and deck and mocassin markets in the North East. Great buy for what I needed.

    The area at the top where these are sewn together rubs and makes wearing them uncomfortable. Remedied by putting tape over that area, but one should not have to do this with a pair of good shoes. (This could be a problem with only the shoes I received, but I doubt it.)

    Bought Sebago penny loafers made in Dominican Republic last year--super shoes, great price. The ones I just got were sewn wrong: the cross piece that should hold the penny was stitched on only at the sides, so it won't hold its shape. And the cross piece was located too far back on the shoe. Last, the two shoes had fronts with different shapes--that looked too odd. I'm returning them.

    These shoes fit great right out of the box. They go with everything and are like wearing slippers everywhere. The only downside is the little metal tips make a little music when you walk. You'll never sneak up on someone wearing them.

    Nice shoes, stylish, I own several similar Sebago boat shoes and they last forever. However these are too narrow and YOU MUST ORDER WIDE style. I don't consider my foot to be wide at all since I have 98% medium width shoes and I cannot imagine who can wear these except in WIDE size. Unfortunately I had to return then = no wides available.

    I went with STP's advice to order a half size down (not a full size) and the length was right. In the end the boot wasn't comfortable for my foot -- something with the toes and arch support. Perhaps it needed to be wider. The straightforward style was fine and the construction was good.
