    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The waistband unravelled from the first pair I bought as I was putting them on. So I got a second pair -- I don't know why -- I guess I liked the fabric, thought they'd be good for travel, but to my disappointment, they kind of sag after you've had them on for a while. They look frumpy. I've owned well-made Italian designs, and these are Chinese copies. Just not worth the money.

    I found this product to be of the highest quality, both in looks and performance. They're beautifully crafted and wearable in all seasons. I would grade these knit pants with 5 star+ except for the sizing which I found puzzling. I generally take a medium to large depending on the manufacturer. I had initially ordered a Size 1, which is comparable to a medium. The fit was overall so loose, that I returned them for a size 0...you can't get smaller than that in Joan Vass. To my surprise the Size 0 was also too large. Having worn them immediately to an occasion that called for a little bit dressier knit, I couldn't return them. With a smaller size I easily would have ordered two or more pairs. However all in all the quality is outstanding. These may by sized for women with large builds.

    These pants might look good on a very thin person. Fabric is inappropriate for dressy pants and cut is old fashioned.
