“Mis-sized compared to my other pair”

“Some months ago, I purchased these in olive as part of a set and found them versatile, flattering, the whole nine yards. When I saw the same pants in white and the same size (M/2) I grabbed them. Surprisingly, they were significantly smaller, leading me to think that this second pair was mis-labeled. I exchanged them for another white pair in M/2 but no luck. Either the manufacturer decided to reconfigure their sizes or something else happened I don't understand. I am regretfully returning both pairs. I still have my olive ones, part of an ensemble that includes the duster and shell. But my niece kidded me that I look like a string bean. I was hoping the white pair would, uh, break up the monotone a bit. Oh well....”
