Semplice

The tag on this had "suggested retail [$] (more or less)"I will use this to cover my arms and also add a little dressy-ness to ordinary outfits.

I am going to Aruba and wanted to wear something light over a sleeveless dress and this was perfect.

I was concerned about buying this when I read the other reviews about how delicate it was, and yes it is delicate, but I wear it all the time. I recently wore it on a trip to Paris and it was perfect for walking around the city over jeans and boots. It's also great with long skirts. It's light enough to keep on when you go to a restaurant and dressy looking, but can be worn with jeans. I wouldn't wear it traveling because it could snag, but I've worn it many times and mine is still in perfect condition. I love it and it is truly perfect for both spring and fall. Also, I'm petite, but it doesn't overwhelm me because it's a light weave.

Some months ago, I purchased these in olive as part of a set and found them versatile, flattering, the whole nine yards. When I saw the same pants in white and the same size (M/2) I grabbed them. Surprisingly, they were significantly smaller, leading me to think that this second pair was mis-labeled. I exchanged them for another white pair in M/2 but no luck. Either the manufacturer decided to reconfigure their sizes or something else happened I don't understand. I am regretfully returning both pairs. I still have my olive ones, part of an ensemble that includes the duster and shell. But my niece kidded me that I look like a string bean. I was hoping the white pair would, uh, break up the monotone a bit. Oh well....

FAMILY TRIP

I do not see that is is linen, nothing special about it

I love these tops so much I returned and bought three more. I am modest in my workout wear and loved having something that I could wear over tight workout tops that was light and breathable. But, once I got it I started wearing it with everything. I am tall and find that to get shirts that are long enough to meet my pants they have to be so big as to be sloppy baggy. These shirts are the perfect length and fit. That said, I am now a size 8-10 (maybe a 12 on those really bad days), and I found that the tops that are supposed to fit 16 fit me just the way I like. I think these tops worn by someone who was the actually size ordered would fit tightly. The only other bad thing is that a tiny snag is real noticable.

Can't wait til warm weather to start wearing these flattering pants. I'm 5'7ish and like the way they hit the above ankle area.

I ordered these pants in white and olive colours; both are nice but it's white colour which I like in particular. As they are predominantly made of linen, they are light and just a little see-through (beige thong underneath is the best, it doesn't show at all). As for sizing, they are true to size; I am size 4 (hips 36 in./94 cm) and size 1 (4-6) fits me well. They sit at natural waist and they are cropped only on a long-legged gal (unfortunately, not me); still, they look very good at the length they are. They are very casual, lounging type of pants. I'll be using them for walks along the ocean. I paired them with Kinross' cashmere hoodie (available at STP, get one while they last) and they look lovely. I totally like them.
