This is my second pair of Serengeti glasses, and I had a different set of build quality issues with that pair. Within less than one day, the coating on the silver/grey Serengeti logo was scratching off. Decided to scratch the rest off with my fingernail and it looked OK, but worn. Now, a few months later, the coating on the lenses is cracking and peeling off. I have the Driver lenses, and they are indeed great for driving. But this probably won't last much longer. I expect a lot more from a $100 pair of glasses. I'm done with Serengeti and sticking with Oakley.

These are a great and reliable product. The polarising is better than any of the many brands I have used before for fishing and the photochromatic adjustment lets you get into the brightest sunlight or overcast gloom and still see into the water without loss of the fine definition that Serengeti are famous for. Glass lenses mean they resist scratching but somehow they've been able to develop thin lenses that save weight without loss of performance. The Monte is afahion style that doesn't make you look too much like a fishing geek.
