“I have had Serengeti sunglasses for many years. They have never disappointed...except for the H2O series. I use the Vedi primarily for driving and everyday use, but they would be good for day hikes, recreational and touring kayaking, and traveling. The photochromic lens with the polarization is good, and the tint makes them great for most occasions. Serengeti has other technological features in the lens to make even cloudy, overcast and rainy days seem more clear. If you are looking for dark sunglasses for car use, then this might not be for you, the photochromic properties change according to UV rays, which don't make it inside the car. However, they are dark enough for driving and they are great outside. The measurements suggest the glasses are smaller than they are, but the spring hinge and weight of the glasses make them feel bigger on the face, however, they look appropriate. The lens feels and looks like glass, not poly. They are a keeper. GO TO THE SERENGETI SITE AND DO THE RESEARCH.”
