To most, the name Sevylor is synonymous with exciting water sports. Yet Sevylor had a humble beginning as the producer of not-so-exciting inflatable bathtubs. In post-WWII France, bathing facilities were hard to come by – so Parisian Berco Grimbert used his high-frequency welding machines to fuse the then-new material PVC into inflatable tubs.
