No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I like this hat a lot--it's soft, warm, cute, fits my head well, and I love the color (plus it matches one of my winter Shebeest jerseys!) But I bought it to wear under my helmet for cold weather cycling, and it doesn't fit well at all in that capacity. It's too bulky under my helmet, especially at the back where it really bunches up. This could be because I have a small head (and a size S helmet)...or perhaps it just doesn't work well with my particular helmet (Bell Array). So I am going to stick to my PI thermal skullcap for riding, and just use this for casual/recreational wear.”
