By Capt. Bob from Medina, OH on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased a Summer wear for my son, so no long term review yet. Fits well and secure like an athletic shoe. Typical Teva detail.
Did Teva test this product ? By bluekazoo from Prescott, AZ on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Cons: Faulty toggle on laces Best Uses: Boating, Kayaking, Rafting, Sailing, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes as a replacement for some older Columbia water shoes. I like everything about them except, the toggle on the laces does not release when you press down on it, so you can adjust the laces. There is a small flap that covers the toggle when it is cinched down that is questionable. The flap is secured by a very small piece of velcro, not big enough in my opinion when walking through brushy areas. It really irritates me that a manufacturer does not take the time to see if the product does what it supposes to do. What gives, did they think I would not notice this. I like the shoes other wise; comfortable in a kayak, and hiking up sandy washes. I called Teva and they told me I could send them in to them. I would like to be able to use the product without sending it in for warranty work.
By Florida Paddler from Tampa Bay, FL on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair of Tevas six months ago and the heel separated from the shoe. I sent them back and they gave me a refund with no flack.
Even though the shoes were defective I decided to try a slightly more expensive pair. Time will tell
