A very roomy bag, after two tight women's bags I tried this summer. It certainly lofts higher than my daughter's 20 degree women's bag, but weighs 8 oz more. A 5-6 130 lb woman has a lot of elbow room (yay for elbows, boo for weight). I was missing the 25 year old Sierra Desgins 20 degree down bag I gave to my spouse, and was so happy to find this. I hope it lasts as long! The anti-snag zipper guard works well, though you still have to be careful not to catch the lining when it pooches out in the way of the zipper, but it's not a constant worry. The face opening is face-shaped, not triangular as in a competitor's (TNF-Cat's Meow) bag, which I returned. The bag has a decent draft collar on the top side only-the bottom does not have a draft collar, but since the face cinches so small it should be OK. Pleasant feel to the very light nylon fabric. The stuffing is very lofty- the nylon stuff sack is WAY too big. I could fit another bag in it. It is comparably heavy to other mid-priced 3-season synthetic bags, but seems to offer better features for the price. Have not tried it outdoors, but after freezing this summer in two women's "20 degree" bags, I think the combination of loft, draft collar and face cinching system, we are good to go back to 10,000 ft in Yosemite or Yellowstone, even in September. Still, wish Sierra Designs would report both low and comfort EN ratings (use the comfort rating for women).
